Especially in winter, the Ennstal is known for its kilometres of ski slopes. But where are the origins of skiing? What did the first skis look like? The Winter Sports Museum offers its visitors a journey back in time to the beginning of winter sports. From the initial hunter, to the rural pastime, to the single pole technique, the development of the snow fort movement is shown to visitors in 3 different displays.
