We want to give you a little insight into our shop and tell you how you can create an excellent roulade recipe, with one of our in-house jams for your loved ones.

Holiday feelings at home


We have been missing our guests for months now and have an empty hotel in front of us. We love to reminisce about the past summer holidays, you can literally feel the scent of the homemade jams in your nose. You let your gaze wander into the distance, just like back then on our sun terrace with the last sip of good coffee in the morning. The memory of the soothing massage and the wonderful pine scent of the quaint modern rooms will take you back to that cosy feeling of security.

The Höflehner salt mixtures add that special spice to every dish. Our sugar mixtures provide an exceptional sweet taste and with our vinegars you can prepare wonderfully light salads.

Homemade jam - recipe tip:

Petra, our Chef Patissier will tell you how to make a delicious roulade with Höflehner sour cherry j am.

Black Forest cherry roulade


-3 eggs
-120g sugar
-4 tablespoons mineral water
-100g flour
-15g cocoa powder
-1/2 packet baking powder

Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Whisk the yolks with the sugar until foamy, then slowly pour in the mineral water. Now add the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder by the spoonful. Finally, fold in the snow.

Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper until smooth and bake at 200° C hot air for approx. 12 minutes.


-200g whipped cream
-1 pack of cream stiffener
-1 jar of sour cherries
-Höflehner's sour cherry jam

Drain the sour cherries in a sieve. Meanwhile, whip the whipped cream with the cream stiffener and then mix in the cherries
Remove the baked roulade from the oven, roll it up with the baking paper and leave to cool slightly. Then unroll the roll again and spread with sour cherry jam. Fill with the whipped cream and cherry cream and roll up again.
