In the Schladming-Dachstein Region you will find a variety of walking trails, hikes and mountain tours. Most of the trails are available for you and your dog for excursions. However, there are also some areas that may not be entered with dogs. These areas were created out of consideration for wildlife habitats and intensive alpine farming with grazing cattle.

At the bathing lake with four-legged friends

Dogs are not allowed to cool off in the bathing lakes in the Schladming-Dachstein Region - however, they are allowed on a leash on the following sunbathing lawns:

• Donnersbach leisure complex
• Recreation area Donnersbachwald
• Irdning leisure complex
• Riesneralm summit pool
• Ramsau-Beach" leisure park

If your dog is longing for a cool down after all, there are numerous streams in the region where you can find a cool spot to cool off.
