Facial yoga, also known as face yoga, is a method of strengthening and relaxing the facial muscles through targeted exercises with the aim of reducing wrinkles and firming the skin. It is a natural alternative to cosmetic treatments and can contribute to a fresher, more youthful appearance.
EXERCISE 1 | against slips
-Place index and middle finger directly under the
Eyebrows and press gently upwards.
-Close your eyes and keep them slightly tense.
-Hold the tension for a few seconds and then release.
-Repeat this exercise 5 times.
EXERCISE 2 | against a double chin
-Relax the face.
-Open your mouth and stick your tongue out as far as
out towards the chin as far as possible so that the tip of the tongue
touches the chin.
-Pull your tongue back into your mouth.
-Perform the exercise in 3 sets of 10 repetitions.
EXERCISE 3 | for a firm chin line
-Hold the arm horizontally for stabilisation
and place the other arm horizontally.
-Make a fist and place your chin on it.
-Open the lower jaw and press the chin down,
while holding your arm slightly against it to stabilise.
-Close the jaw again.
EXERCISE 4 | for firm cheeks
-Shape your index finger into a C and place it next to
the wing of the nose.
-Massage the skin from the wing of the nose outwards
outwards towards the ears. (do not apply too much pressure)
-Repeat the exercise several times.
EXERCISE 5 | against frown lines
-Place the knuckles of the index finger on the area next to the wings of the nose.
-Apply light pressure to the muscles of the nose
Upwards to the root of the nose.
-Move along the eyebrows with a slight upward movement to the temple
Upwards to the temples.
-Repeat this exercise 5 to 10 times.
