Nature experiences to remember
Aigner Hof | Aich
A sleigh or carriage ride at the Aigner Riding Centre in Aich is a special nature experience for young and old alike. In winter, when there is enough snow, you can take a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the snow-covered landscape; alternatively, a leisurely carriage ride is also available. Whether it’s a romantic evening tour, a family outing or a trip to a cosy place to stop for refreshments – the experience combines authentic Styrian tradition, a love of horses and the tranquil beauty of the Schladming-Dachstein region.
Each carriage can accommodate up to 10 people, and the farm also has teams of Haflinger, Noriker and ponies.
Schladming Mountain Christmas
The Schladming Mountain Christmas is one of the most atmospheric Advent experiences in the region, combining traditional customs with the romantic charm of winter’s natural beauty. Particularly lovely is the walk through the Talbach Gorge, which during Advent is bathed in pre-Christmas magic thanks to lighting effects, stories, music and a contemplative atmosphere. The trail leads along the Talbach stream through the impressive gorge and ends right at the ‘Advent am Talbach’, where regional delicacies, arts and crafts, and warming punch await visitors. A cosy winter experience for anyone who wants to experience Christmas in an authentic, peaceful and nature-filled way.
