Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area
The Höflehner 4*S Nature and Wellness Hotel is situated right next to the slopes of the Schladming-Dachstein 4-Mountain Ski Area. We can therefore guarantee you a wonderful skiing holiday in a ski region that leaves nothing to be desired.
The Hauser Kaibling is the easternmost of the four Styrian ski resorts: Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The Schladming 4-Mountain Circuit offers pure skiing pleasure across 44 cable cars and T-bar lifts on 123 kilometres of slopes! This ski resort has received top ratings and awards on numerous occasions. It has twice been awarded the title of ‘Best Ski Resort’ (in the International Ski Area Test) and has been awarded 5 stars by the world’s largest review portal, ‘Skiresort.de’, for the past three years. Perfectly groomed slopes and state-of-the-art lift facilities offer superb skiing conditions with guaranteed snow from December to April.
The most beautiful slopes on the Hauser Kaibling
We often hear that the most beautiful slopes on the Hauser Kaibling are right on our doorstep at the Höfi Express 1 and 2. However, this praise is due to the lift operator, Helmut Höflehner, and especially his staff! Every day, they use their 490 PS Pistenbully to groom a magnificent, approximately 40 km-long carpet of snow. As a general rule, the slopes are closed between 5.00 pm and 8.00 am. It is essential to adhere to this, as in some places the snow groomers are secured with winches. Fresh snow that has fallen overnight means heading out again in the morning to groom the slopes.
By the way: as the gateway to the slopes of the Hauser Kaibling and the 4-Mountain Ski Area, the Höfi Express 1 is considered an insider’s tip amongst day skiers. Here, you can usually get straight into the skiing fun without having to queue for long.
