  • How high is your hotel?

  • What is the best way to get to your hotel by bus or train? Is there a bus connection? Hiking bus/ ski bus?

  • By train: We are happy to pick you up free of charge in Haus im Ennstal or in Schladming, from the train station.
    There is no public bus or hiking bus directly at the hotel. Our hotel-owned hiking taxis drive daily in summer to the guided hikes.
  • Can you get up the mountain by car without any problems?
    The access road to the hotel is asphalted and has an average gradient of about 10%. Therefore, snow chains are compulsory in winter from the exit of the main road.
  • Are dogs allowed in your hotel?
    Dogs are welcome in our hotel, we charge EUR 20,- per day without food (dog blanket, water bowl and paw station). Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, bar or wellness area.
  • Is there a cheap airport transport?
    We are happy to organise airport transport from Salzburg or Graz directly to the hotel.
  • From when can I check in and until when do I have to vacate my room?
    On the day of arrival we guarantee your room from 15:00. You are welcome to check in earlier and leave your luggage - we will bring it to your room as soon as it is free. On the day of arrival you can use our wellness area from 1 pm and on the day of departure until 1 pm.  On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11:00 a.m. at the latest. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us for the rest of the day. For an additional charge of EUR 25,- per person and day you can use the wellness area earlier or longer including light lunch (in summer) or cake buffet (in winter).
  • I have seen a cheaper offer at Hofer. Will I get the same price if I book directly with you?
    We only provide Hofer with a certain contingent with certain room categories. Furthermore, the service package of the Hofer offer is not identical to the services you receive if you book directly with us. For this reason, we cannot give you the same price that you would pay for the Hofer offer.
  • Is your hotel child-friendly?
    Our hotel is a family-run business in its 3rd generation - which is precisely why family and the demand for a family holiday are very important to us. We offer excitement, fun and variety for your family holiday with nature as your entertainer. Your children are in good hands in our Bambiclub, while you relax and unwind in our Premium Alpine Spa. You will also find the Zwergerlbad for the little ones.
  • Are children allowed in the wellness area?
    Children under 16 are welcome to use the indoor pool. Our alpine sauna village is a nude area and is open to children over the age of 16
  • Can you give us a good price?
    We always offer our best prices on a daily basis, which we guarantee for 48 hours from the time the offer is made. The earlier you book, the better the deal - we don't offer last minute deals. We make sure that our prices are fair for all our guests, whether they are visiting us for the first time or have been our guests for many years.
  • I read that you have a vacancy as .... How can I apply?

  • Are there any noise nuisances to be expected (e.g. from traffic)?
    On the days when we offer live music, it may be heard quietly in the rooms, directly above the hotel bar. Due to our location on the mountain at the edge of the forest, no other disturbances are otherwise to be expected.

Reservation and cancellation

  • How can I pay at your hotel?
    We accept all major debit cards, VISA and Master Card, as well as cash payment.
  • What are the cancellation conditions for the summer?
    For new bookings, cancellations are free of charge up to 1 month before arrival. For winter 2022/2023 and summer 2023 a cancellation period of 3 months applies.
    At present, our familiar hotel contract conditions apply to cancellations within one month of arrival. It is best to take out travel insurance, our reservations department will be happy to give you more information.
  • Do I get my deposit back in case of cancellation?
    You will receive your deposit back in the form of an unlimited voucher. You can use this voucher on a new date for any of our hotel's services or give it to someone else as a gift.
  • Can I take out travel insurance directly through you?
    We cooperate with the Europäische Reiseversicherung. You can take out travel insurance online via our homepage, or you can contact us and we will arrange everything around your travel cover.
  • We will be arriving a little late, can we still get something to eat?
    Our evening menu buffet is open until 20:30. If you are arriving later, please let us know. Then we can prepare something for you.
  • There are two of us, can we book a suite?/I am alone, can I book a double room?
    You are very welcome to book a suite for two, or a double room for single use, subject to availability (except Christmas/New Year, February and public holiday dates). The single room supplement is EUR 30 per night.

Wellness and Day Spa

  • I have a voucher and would like to come to the Day Spa. Do I have to register.
    We kindly ask you to contact us in advance regarding a Day Spa. Bring the voucher with you and hand it in at reception when you check in. There you will receive all the information about your day out with us. Of course, you will receive a spa bag with bathrobe and towels.
  • Do I have to book wellness appointments in advance or is it enough upon arrival?
    In order to receive your desired appointment and to be able to spend your holiday with us in a relaxed manner, it is advisable to plan the appointments in advance (either by e-mail: [email protected] or by telephone). We recommend that you book the particularly popular afternoon appointments at least 14 days in advance. If you would like to book an appointment spontaneously, this is of course also possible on site with our spa professionals at the Premium Alpin Spa - Wellness Reception.
  • Do you have bathrobes or do I have to bring my own?
    You will receive a bath bag, with bathrobe and towels.
  • How warm is the water in the indoor pool?
    The water in the indoor pool is 31°C, the outdoor pool with massage jets 31°C, sports pool 28°C, whirlpools 35°C.
  • From when to when is the wellness area open? How long are children allowed in the indoor pool?
    The outdoor area is open from 10:00 to 20:00. (Alpine sauna village, rest houses, Stadlsauna). The Olympia sports pool and the Panorama floating whirlpool are open from 07:30 to 20:00. The indoor pool with outdoor pool is open from 07:00 to 20:00.
    Children are allowed in the mountain pool area, from 16 years you have access to the alpine sauna village and rest area.

Special wishes

  • What can I do to make my holiday extra special?
    We can offer you the Candle Light Dinner in our wine cellar. In private togetherness you will enjoy a gourmet dinner (per person EUR 25.00). Further possibilities: Romantic room decoration, Höflehner sparkling wine, homemade chocolates, mountain romantic bath, bouquet of flowers according to your wishes. Please let us know your wishes as soon as possible.
  • I would like to have dinner with you tomorrow, can I reserve a table?
    You are welcome to come and dine with us as an external guest (breakfast, lunch - a la carte, menu, candlelight dinner, fine dining), as long as the capacities of our restaurant allow it. Do you have a special occasion for your meal? Please let us know when you make your reservation.
  • I have an allergy to.../am lactose-intolerant.... Is it possible to have a special meal?
    Please inform us as soon as possible. We cook gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian and vegan.
  • Is your hotel wheelchair accessible?
    Due to the spaciousness (lift, rooms, corridors, restaurant area) it is possible to spend your holiday with us in a wheelchair. However, barrier-free access is not available everywhere.
  • We have a special table request.
    We are happy to accommodate your table requests - subject to availability. Please inform us in good time so that our service team can take your wishes into account when arranging the table plan.
