  1. Friedenskircherl
In the ORF television programme "9 Places - 9 Treasures" in 2022, the Friedenskircherl was voted the most beautiful place in Austria.
Like an eagle's nest, the small Friedenskircherl nestles into the rock on the Stoderzinken and offers an overwhelming view over the Enns Valley. The symbol of peace was built in 1902 by Emil Ritter von Horstig: free for all denominations, with the idea of bringing people together - no matter who they are or what they believe in. The local poet Peter Rosegger also paid tribute to this place: "What should I write in these mountains full of sunshine? I can only be silent and blissful in prayer.
Reachable on foot via a path - past the Rosegger memorial - in approx. 30 minutes.
  2. Zipline-Stoderzinken
Europe's longest zipline - 2.5 km down the valley at up to 115 km/h over the treetops - pure adrenaline rush TouriSpo+4Schladming-Dachstein+4Stoderzinken.at+4.
  3. Flying Coaster Stoderzinken
Up and down, to the right and left and all at 40 km/h - centrifugal force sends its regards. Get that rollercoaster feeling on the fast 800m long track at 3-12m above the ground. Suitable for children aged 8 and over with a weight of at least 30kg and a height of at least 120m.
  4. Gröbming Adventure Park
2.000m climbing route, 200 elements and stations, 22 courses and 3 Flying Foxes provide you with pure adventure. For the very brave, you can even climb up to a height of 10-15 metres! 5 children's courses for minis from the age of 3 are also fun for the youngest guests.
  5. Via ferratas - from Florasteig (A) to Emil (B/C) & Karl (D)
In the via ferrata park, there are 4 short variants from easy to extremely difficult to choose from. They offer a climbing experience for young and old. All 4 routes lead over a suspension bridge at the end. However, this can also be bypassed. After the via ferratas, the ascent to the Stoderzinken summit is definitely worthwhile.
The Florasteig offers the ideal access to the via ferratas with its magnificent views over the Enns Valley and the surrounding mountains. Without via ferrata equipment, the Florasteig requires surefootedness and a head for heights.
If you are a beginner, you should choose the Emil via ferrata (B/C), which is very suitable for beginners. It always leads moderately steeply uphill and is ideal for familiarising yourself with the route. The via ferrata is named after Emil Ritter von Horstig. He was the first pioneer on the Stoderzinken, who also built the Friedenskircherl and initiated the first wave of development on the Stoderzinken with coal mining around 1890.
Advanced climbers will enjoy the challenging Julius via ferrata (D/E), which pushes even experienced climbers to their limits. With several D sections and one D/E section, the via ferrata requires good technique and sufficient strength. The via ferrata "Julius" is named after Julius Steiner. He created the Stoderzinken in its current form: the road, lifts and the Steinerhaus were built by him between 1958 and 1968. Before the war, he was a mountaineer, skier and ski jumper and after the war he was the first head of operations of the Gröbming mountain rescue service.
  6. Stoderzinken and Friedenskircherl - hiking trail
Starting point: Rosemialm car park | 2.5 hours | 4.1 km | 400 metres altitude difference
The Stoderzinken is a rewarding mountain destination with unique flora and fauna. It takes around 40 minutes to hike to the famous Friedenskircherl chapel via a narrow path along the rocks. From there, you can walk along the Florasteig trail or the Peter Rosegger statue through mountain pine lanes to the summit. The summit panorama is a special experience, especially at sunrise.
On the descent via the unmanaged Brünner Hütte hut, you can also experience stunning mountain views ranging from the Dachstein to the Großglockner.
