4 mountains ski circuit

The Höflehner 4*S Nature and Wellness Hotel is located directly on the slopes of the Schladming-Dachstein 4-mountain ski area. This guarantees you a fantastic skiing holiday in a ski region that leaves nothing to be desired.

Ski Amadè & Schladming 4-Mountain Ski Area

Welcome to the enchanting ski region Schladming-Dachstein Tauern!

Hauser Kaibling is located in the most eastern part out of the four Styrian ski mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The Schladming 4-mountain swing offers the purest skiing pleasure via 44 cable cars and drag lifts on 123 kilometres of pistes! Your ski area has already been top rated and awarded several times. Twice it has been awarded the title of "Best Ski Resort" (in the International Skiareatest) and has been awarded 5 stars by the world's largest test portal "Skiresort.de" for the past three years. Perfectly groomed slopes and state-of-the-art lifts offer top skiing conditions with guaranteed snow from December to April.

The most beautiful pistes on Hauser Kaibling

We very often hear that we have the most beautiful pistes on the Hauser Kaibling right outside the hotel door at Höfi Express 1 and 2. However, this praise is due to the lift operator Helmut Höflehner and especially his staff! Day in, day out, they prepare a wonderful, approx. 40 km long carpet of snow with their 490 HP Pistenbully. In general, the piste is closed between 17:00 and 08:00. This must be observed at all times, as in some places the piste machines are secured with winches. Freshly fallen snow overnight means that you have to get out and groom again in the morning.

By the way: The Höfi Express 1 is an insider tip among day skiers as an entry point to the Hauser Kaibling piste world and the 4-mountain ski circuit. Here you can usually start your skiing fun without queuing up.

Nice-to-know: Major ski events

Major skiing events have already taken place several times on the Planai, Hauser Kaibling and Reiteralm. So that you know about all of them, here is an overview:

  • World Winter Games - Special Olymics 2017
  • Ski World Championships Schladming 2013 & Schladming-Haus 1982
