Nature was and remains our starting point. It is, in the truest sense of the word, the natural force that drives us. We have reflected on the concept of ‘nature’ – and realised that nature plays the leading role in all our activities. This has given rise to the ‘6-N Philosophy’. Each ‘N’ stands for a core value that fundamentally shapes our actions: experiencing nature, naturalness, nature-based wellness, nature-inspired cuisine, sustainability and nature-inspired design.
Experiencing Nature
Spectacular mountain panoramas, crystal-clear lakes and streams, dense forests and imposing mountain peaks: explore the wonderful natural surroundings from the hotel. Countless hiking trails and via ferrata routes invite you to explore. Experience the magnificent natural spectacle created by the flora and fauna in the mountains and, with a bit of luck, you may encounter marmots, roe deer, red deer and chamois. Above all, you will find one thing: a sense of freedom.

For three generations, we have been dedicated to the well-being of our guests in a genuine family-run business that has grown steadily over the decades. Natural Cuisine
Natural ingredients are our region’s most precious treasures – colourful, down-to-earth and authentic. Only the finest, most genuine produce makes it onto the table. Our locally based partner businesses make this possible. Take, for example, the wild fish from Fischerei Ausseerland, the delicious organic free-range breakfast eggs from the Riemelmoser family in Rottenmann, or the excellent beef from the Hofer family in Ruperting. We value healthy natural cycles – because only what is natural can develop its full flavour.
Sustainability
A concept that has been growing in importance for years – for most people. But for us, one thing has been crystal clear for many years: nature is our starting point. It is what moves and drives us every day; it is something we want to preserve. As a nature hotel, sustainable and resource-efficient management is a matter of course for us. Sustainability goes hand in hand with regionality.
Natural design
We love natural design. We bring the rustic charm of the mountains and a sense of cosiness to life in a modern way. When furnishing the hotel, we placed great emphasis on unique, high-quality natural materials, sourced mainly from regional partners – with a particular focus on Swiss stone pine. We want to offer you a place of relaxation where you can feel the rhythm of nature and thus rediscover your inner balance.
